TRAINING & SUPPORT
As a new franchisee, you will participate in one of the most comprehensive training programs in the industry. You will start by attending 3 weeks of comprehensive classroom training that covers coffee and tea, our menu, managing a successful cafe, human resources, and much more. Upon completion, you'll spend an additional 3 weeks in your market (whenever possible) working directly in a cafe. Prior to opening your doors, we will help train your staff and assist you in all aspects of opening your store.
All throughout the franchise process, you will have the ongoing support and expertise of our staff. This comes in many forms of assistance:

SITE SELECTION
As a BIGGBY COFFEE franchisee you will work directly with our Real Estate Manager who will assist you in securing a proper store location, negotiating a lease and occupancy terms. BIGGBY will do an "in market" evaluation of your area before the site selection process even begins. You will receive this demographic data on the area as well as have access to our site selection form. These tools coupled with your knowledge will assist you/us in identifying the best possible property.
As a franchisee, we will help take your store from the drawing table all the way to your Grand Opening. There are a number of architects and contractors we work with and can refer you to. A typical BIGGBY cafe is approximately 1,200 - 1,500 square ft. suites, within high visibility, high traffic strip centers. Many now include drive-thru service; a growing industry trend.
MARKETING & MERCHANDISING BIGGBY COFFEE has an annual promotions calendar for in-store marketing of beverages, food items and merchandise - all designed to grab your customer's attention. BIGGBY also designs and develops advertising materials for direct mail, billboards and print media, as well as radio commercials.
BIGGBY's Marketing Department is also available to answer questions, assist you through your Grand Opening and help design and develop custom programs to expand your customer base and increase your sales.
